We take great pride in making each pie from scratch, by hand, and from locally sourced ingredients of the finest quality. Please call them in advance, as their stock is sure to be limited. Lastly, you can visit one of our Partner Retailers and pick up a pie there. We also keep rotating stock on hand (first come, first served basis) of the 9-inch and 5-inch pies for those looking to take out. Or come visit us at one of our locations for a freshly baked slice, pop tart, or savoury hand pie to enjoy right there or packaged up to go. Your order will be freshly made and ready for you on the date specified! At least 36 hours notice is required from the time you order (the system will not let you select a date in advance of this time). As you go through the checkout process, you will be able to specify a date for pick up. To order this product online, select a size followed by selecting options (like the ‘Top’ or ‘Frozen’, if applicable) and then click on “Add to Cart”. Using online shopping you can order pies in 9-inch, 5-inch, 3-inch (9-pack), hand pie (5-pack), or mini hand pies (12-pack). Do NOT refreeze.Īll pies ordered online are ready after 12 noon on your selected date (chosen during checkout). To thaw after freezing, place frozen pie in fridge for 12 hours and then follow Freshly Baked instructions above. Want to freeze an already baked pie? While it is not best practice, it can be done.Keep this in mind when serving that ‘perfect’ slice. The sugar in the pie will become more fluid as it warms. The warmer the pie, the messier the cut.If the pie crust is getting too dark (especially the edges), lightly cover with aluminum foil to protect the crust.Pie juices should bubble and appear thickened and sticky when ready. If the pie has a lot of juices flowing out it is not quite ready and you will have an under-baked crust. With oven mitts on, tilt the baking sheet slightly.If it is served too hot, the pie's consistency will be too runny. The bottom of the pie tin should remain warm to the touch. Once baked, cool the Apple Pi Pie for a minimum of 1 hour before serving. Bake a 9” for 90-120 minutes and a 5” for 50-60 minutes. To bake, place pie on baking sheet (line with parchment paper to reduce mess) and place in preheated oven at 350☏. For best results, the pie should be baked within 3 months of purchase. If your Apple Pi Pie is frozen, please store in the freezer until you are ready to bake and consume. Warm a 9” pie for 20 minutes and a 5” for 10 minutes. To warm, bring to room temperature for 45 minutes, and then place in preheated oven at 350☏. Before serving please remove from fridge and leave at room temperature for 45 minutes. For best results, the pie should be consumed within 4 days of purchase. If your Apple Pi Pie is already baked, please store it in the fridge. Drag the device icon of the SD-Card to the Trash.Make sure to get the most enjoyable and best experience out of our pies by following the baking instructions and serving tips below. Upon completion, you may want to name the SD-Card to root. In about 15 seconds the progress bar will show progress. Highlight the device and click on the three dots next to IMG file: Select your image file. If necessary, click on the refresh icon as shown below: The card should appear as an icon on your desktop (Just like inserting a USB stick does.)
